Linde Tillmanns Sextet
English: Pianist and composer Linde Tillmanns makes modern, free music. The songs tell either personal stories or paint an emotion, colour or momentum. One might hear meditative qualities, spacious sounds, lyrical pieces, something contained, something disjointed. Her sound on keys can be recognized by her fiery, expressionist playing.
Always exploring, she continually searches for new harmonic worlds, rhythms and melodies that touch her. As well as jazz greats like Aaron Parks, McCoy Tyner, Alice Coltrane and Tigran Hamasyan, Linde is also greatly influenced by traditional music from various countries, having dived most deeply into Brazilian, Irish and African music. She is attracted by both the minimalistic and the very dense.
Detusch: Die Pianistin und Komponistin Linde Tillmanns macht moderne, freie Musik. Die Lieder erzählen entweder persönliche Geschichten oder malen eine Emotion, Farbe oder Dynamik. Man kann meditative Qualitäten, weitläufige Klänge, lyrische Stücke, etwas Kontemplatives und etwas Zerstückeltes hören. Ihr Klang auf den Tasten ist durch ihr feuriges, expressionistisches Spiel erkennbar.

Sie fühlt sich sowohl von Minimalistischem als auch von sehr Dichtem angezogen.
